AID is hiring for Armed Security Offiicers to maintain security of our responsible areas at Arnold Air Force Base. The Security offers will fall under the supervision of a shift lieutenant, performs physical security and resource protection related tasks and activities.
This role may require that company vehicles are driven.
Must successfully complete pre-employment fitness test consisting of: cardiovascular endurance (300 meter and a 1 mile run) and muscular strength/endurance (push-ups and sit-ups).
Must be 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a TN Armed Security Guard/Officer License.
Must be able to maintain qualification and authority to carry firearms.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Must possess a valid state driver's license.
Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must present a professional image in accordance with Air Force Instruction 31-122, Dress and Appearance Standards.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Two years of military police or security forces experience and/or two years of professional police experience in a civilian law enforcement agency.
A graduate of a civilian police academy or a recognized military police/Security Forces academy.
