Overview: This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of transportation activities, including equipment management and adherence to transportation procedures. Key responsibilities include assisting with equipment handling, preparing transportation documentation, and enforcing safety and security protocols. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with drivers to ensure secure and efficient transportation operations. Responsibilities: Assist in managing, maintaining, and tracking transportation related equipment inventory to ensure it remains fully operational and meets safety and regulatory standards. Assign and distribute the inventory asset to the Drivers. Update inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business. Create, organize, and maintain all necessary transportation-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure compliance with transportation equipment standards. Address common questions or concerns related to transportation operations and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth operations. Conduct audits on transportation equipment and operations as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of transportation operations as assigned, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Scanning equipment in and out during daily operations. Reporting discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft and/or loss. Requirements: Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to multi-task and work independently and contribute to the team's overall success. Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible, with the ability to work various shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time during shifts. English proficiency, Spanish a plus. Experience with High Jump system is a plus. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of related experience. Prior experience in basic computer skills. Previous experience interacting with the public or employees, providing assistance and maintaining professionalism. Technology Skills: Microsoft Excel/ Word. Electronic mail software - Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft Outlook. Video conferencing software Microsoft Teams. Work Environment: 5 or 6 days a week in the Facility. Ability to bend and lift heavy items, 40-50 lbs. Ability to work in both cold and hot environments. Ability to work or stand for extended hours as needed. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
