Director, Client Development - Emerging Brands (Agriculture)
Position Summary:
The Director, Client Development - Emerging Brands is responsible for delivering top line growth by managing/directing the execution of the Emerging Segment sales plans and strategic initiatives. This is a highly strategic role that requires a consultative approach to sell enterprise-level solutions to Emerging consumer brands. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the executive teams of our targeted accounts, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present Inmar solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements. Collaboration is essential in the role given the need to interact with marketing, legal, finance, and digital agencies. He/she will work with his/her sales team in developing client relationships (both new and existing) and provide expert support on solutions during the sales cycle. He or she is responsible for the selection, development, performance and retention of a world-class sales team, which will include a team of Client Development Executives (CDE's). Drawing from extensive success in previous selling roles, this seasoned, top-performing pro knows how to target prospects, cultivate relationships, close deals, aggressively drive revenue and coach/develop a team of direct report sellers.
Primary Accountabilities:
Leadership (45%)
Assist with development and implementation of the annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives. This involves directing, coaching, observing, guiding and collaborating with associates on the team.
Direct the implementation and execution of sales processes, policies and practices.
Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
Strategic (45%)
Research, compile and communicate information and data related to customer and prospect opportunities.
Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leaders
Define and coordinate sales training and development programs that enable sales associates to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
Work closely with the marketing team to establish successful campaigns.
Target prospects, cultivate relationships, close deals and aggressively drive revenue.
