Material Handler
JOB SUMMARY
Load finished parts and/or product, as well as unload raw materials and shipments as assigned.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Load and unload trucks
- Maintain accurate counts and records of products loaded on trucks for shipment to customers
- Maintain 5S activities
- Perform other duties assigned
- Reports to Production Supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift trained
- Shipping trained
- Capable to load/unload truck and stack inventory with both clamp and fork forklifts
- Familiar with shipping paperwork
- Communication (Verbal)
- Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- 40+ hours a week
- Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and reaching
- Lifting , carrying , pushing, pulling (25lb max)
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Safety glasses
- Steel toe shoes
- Hearing protection available
