With technical centers throughout the country KMEA's award-winning services include Environmental Remediation, Environmental Engineering & Consulting Services, Energy, Engineering (A/E), Sustainability, Major Program Management, Staff Augmentation and Third-party Inspection Services.
We are seeking two experienced and responsible full-time Survey Instrument Technicians in our San Antonio, Texas location to assist surveyors in obtaining and computing data relevant to measuring the earth's features.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up, adjusting and operating equipment used at surveying job sites, including total stations, robotic total stations, theodolites, GNSS receivers, retroreflectors, 3D scanners, radios, clinometer, handheld tablets, digital levels, subsurface locators, drones, GIS and surveying software.
Measuring, recording and calculating data based on readings from those instruments.
Lying out and recovering markings, stakes and other such signifiers at work locations.
Assisting in creating drawings and computer images of the locations assigned.
Collecting field data using global positioning or geographical information systems for Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Construction Staking and Transportation projects with DOD and other clients.
May also assist in directing other members of surveying teams.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
