Engineering Co-op, Fall 2019 (634400) (Architecture)
Responsible for providing assistance with engineering services to support existing manufacturing processes and support new process development for implant manufacturing under the direction of a project leader or manager.
Implement process improvement actions Assist with new process commercialization and capacity expansion activities Generate protocols for testing/analyzing the product Perform root cause analyses and troubleshooting for process non-conformances Develop and implement statistical process control data for plant KPIs. Participate in project teams (meetings, presentations, etc.)
Strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential. An understanding of human physiology and joint mechanics is preferred. Microsoft Office Suite
Must be actively enrolled in an academic program for the entire duration of the assignment. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline. Mechanical, Biomedical and Industrial Engineering majors preferred. Software experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Minitab GPA of 3.2+ preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills.
