Business Office Manager (Administrative)
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management:
Manage and process
Accounts Receivable
and
Accounts Payable
in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure resident billing is accurate and complete; follow up on collections as needed.
Prepare and review monthly financial reports and reconcile accounts as necessary.
Assist with budget tracking and variance reporting.
Payroll & HR Administration:
Process
bi-weekly payroll
for all staff using
Workday
or designated payroll systems.
Maintain accurate employee records, including onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance documentation.
Support performance reviews, terminations, and HR investigations in coordination with corporate HR.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
Office & Administrative Management:
Serve as a key liaison between staff, residents, families, and corporate office.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee data.
Coordinate administrative processes and ensure a smoothly functioning front office.
Provide support during audits and ensure proper documentation is in place.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in business office management, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or related industry.
Proficiency in
Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll
, and
HR functions
.
Experience with
Workday
HRIS and payroll systems required.
Strong command of
Microsoft Outlook
and general Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in senior living/healthcare is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Prior experience in a leadership role within a senior living or long-term care environment.
