Financial Analyst (Finance)
Responsible for partnering with managers (or their assigned resources) within the IT infrastructure organization on expense management, ensuring forecasts are accurate and timely. Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline that includes thorough analysis of financials, assist reconciling actuals and reforecast each month. In addition, point to opportunities to reduce expenses, help track and build the bottoms up view of next year's expenses.
Major Duties
Work with managers of various/assigned cost center to:
• Ensuring monthly forecasts are accurate and that any variance between, prior year and current forecast, between current plan and current forecast and between prior month forecast and current month forecast are understood and captured.
• Help reconcile actuals against forecasted payments.
• Help work to resolve AP / Billing issues or mismatches.
• Keep track of maintenance payments, license true-ups and new annual license payments for annual subscriptions.
Collaborates with Procurement and Finance to understand Capital and Direct Expense implications will be prior to the approvals of new deals and validating if the expenses have already been factored into the cost center plan and forecast.
Effectively partner with managers on the following year bottoms up expense planning. This will include tracking the multiple year implications to any new purchases or contracts signed throughout the year.
Develops strong relationships and closely coordinates with Business Unit, Procurement, Accounts Payable and Corporate Financial Management personnel.
Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
Works within guidelines and policies.

•Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own job discipline
•Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
•Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations
