PM Machine Operator (Finance)
Setup and operation of a Columbia CPM+ block machine. Carryout equipment adjustments ensuring expected quality, efficiency, consistency, and equipment longevity.
Setup and operation of the ACT batching equipment. Loading and maintaining mix designs for proper water cement ratios. Ensuring batch consistency in water and color.
Overseeing packaging of product. ensure product is at top quality before, during and after the packaging process. Informing the cuber operator what is expected.
Maintaining and practicing a within the safety policy.
Maintaining a production schedule. Ensuring all production expectations are met within the schedule.
Maintain the highest achievable quality while maintaining efficiency and consistency. Ability to quickly recognize potential issues and reacting to them.
Maintain daily preventative maintenance and housekeeping.
Maintain a daily maintenance log.
Work Environment:
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures.
Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards.
Work in a noisy environment.
Expectations:
Maintaining a cull rate of 2% or less on all product.
Maintaining production cycle count average of 2500 per daily shift.
Minimized unscheduled downtime of less than 30 total minutes per day.
Mold change and setup times averaging less than 15 minutes.
Desired Skills:
Strong mechanical background. Ability to identify and troubleshoot in real time.
Ability to identify and utilize basic hand and power tools. Ability to utilize a tape measure is critical.
Strong attention to quality and detail.
