Application Engineer I (Finance)



As an Application Engineer I, you will be responsible for quoting the installation of material handling solutions. You will be charged with understanding the proposed material handling solution, the implementation plan of said solution, and estimating the mechanical and electrical installation of the proposed solution. The Advanced Application Engineer I works with sales, potential contractors, and other members of the proposal development team.

You will report directly to the Sr. Application Engineering Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful implementation of our material handling solutions, ensuring that we meet customer expectations while driving operationalYOU MUST HAVE

  • General electrical and mechanical installation knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Minimum travel availability: 10%.
WE VALUE
  • 0-2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or application engineering roles, or in roles related to the installation procedures of material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of material handling products and solutions.
  • Experience with Salesforce and AutoCAD.

  • Develop and present estimated installation costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Review and audit quotes provided by potential installation subcontractors.
