Human Resources Generalist - Ft. Meyer Florida (Finance)
• Site HR Leader for Ft. Meyers location
• HR support for 2 Business Units within our Components and Accessories division
• Perform various employee relations duties, including employee counseling, management coaching, and performance management. Investigate employee complaints and disputes and recommend disciplinary action. Educate employees/managers on employee relations issues.
• Partner with client managers to define and meet HR needs of the business.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates. Work with managers, to identify job requirements and create interview guides to assist in talent acquisition.
• Counsel leaders on opportunities to improve organization and/or employee effectiveness through successful talent management, assessment, planning, and consulting. Counsel leaders through organizational change, developmental training, career management, workforce diversity, and/or strategic planning.
• Provide advice, counsel and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR Information Systems to client group.
• Administers policies and procedures for employment, placement, termination and employee transfers. Ensures the consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures.
• Takes appropriate actions to address and resolve employee relations issues.
• Guides client leaders through a process of developing answers, solutions, and/or strategies to deal fairly, legally and effectively with people-related matters.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Resources highly desirable
• Five (5) years' experience in Human Resources.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, decision making, oral and written communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of employment laws.
• Skilled in employee relations, compensation, leadership coaching and change management.
• Strategic; professional presence; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge and understanding of HR metrics
• Ability to develop and recommend targeted employee engagement goals and actions plans based on survey data with a focus on driving business outcomes
• Bilingual - English & Spanish speaking a real plus
• Must be authorized to work in the US
