We are seeking a detail-oriented Income Tax Manager to lead income tax compliance, planning, and reporting. Based at our global headquarters in Rock Hill, SC ( hybrid schedule ), this role ensures accurate tax filings, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and provides strategic tax planning to optimize our position. What We Are Looking For:
- Lead the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns in accordance with applicable laws.
- Ensure full compliance with evolving tax regulations and all related reporting requirements.
- Manage tax audits, including coordinating responses and communications with tax authorities.
- Develop and execute tax strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce overall tax liabilities.
- Research complex tax issues and monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the organization.
- Review tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and financial statement disclosures under ASC 740.
- Partner with internal finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate and transparent tax reporting.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance tax processes, driving best practices and operational improvements.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or MST strongly preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate income tax or public accounting, with a solid track record in tax compliance and reporting
- Deep understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency with tax software and ERP systems
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to work cross-functionally and guide teams
- Experience with multinational tax compliance and reporting
- In-depth knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provision calculations
- Familiarity with tax planning strategies and risk mitigation techniques
