Public Relations & Communications Intern - PD/Variable (Finance)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job
Create various collateral pieces using standard brand templates, including brochures, fliers and postcards.
Assist with writing various materials, including but not limited to web copy and patient stories for various platforms.
Take photos at various hospital events.
Brand patient family education materials.
Assist with various external communications as needed, including media relations.
Assist in development and implementation of communications plans.
Manage overall media list and keep updated.
Create media outreach materials and pitch media
Experience
Pursuing/Completed Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communication Studies
Strong writing skills
Eye for design
Computer savvy, especially with Microsoft
Interest in health care or non-profits
Strong initiative/outgoing
Education
Pursuing/Completed Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communication Studies
