Truck Driver- CDL (Transportation)



Truck Driver- CDL:
The Truck Driver- CDL is responsible for safely transporting electrical materials to and from warehouse, suppliers, and job locations.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

Safely perform and direct the loading and unloading of trucks
Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner
Work with all team members to accomplish the daily shipping schedule
Perform daily vehicle inspections and communicate any problems and standard maintenance with your vehicle
Understand and complete the log book
Submit monthly vehicle reports to fleet
Coordinate jobsite clean offs with the Warehouse Manager and Field Supervisors
Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects

Job Requirements:
In addition to being punctual, self-motivated, detail oriented, and unwilling to accept second-best, you will

Have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Have at least six months experience driving/transporting materials
Have experience pulling trailers
Be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills
Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment
Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally
Be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
Be physically able to raise, lower, or move objects weighing 50-150 pounds
