Sr Development Chemist (Finance)
The Senior Development Chemist will be responsible to coordinate lab activities and communicate the project progression directly to Nissan. Incumbent must be able to lead independent projects or portions of a larger project, generate reliable data, and consistently demonstrate the use of Sigma Logic (i.e. design of experiments) methodology. Main activities include formulation and testing of various automotive coatings, providing innovative technical solutions to challenging problems, generating written/oral reports, and supporting thorough development of formulation practices (DFMEA, design matrices, etc.), which will enable a faster path to market.

Incumbent should possess at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Chemistry or Biochemistry discipline, along with a demonstrated track record of relevant work experience. You should be able to grasp new technology quickly. Oral and written communication skills should be well developed along with good problem solving ability. Good interpersonal skills are required to work effectively in a team environment with technical and non-technical personnel. Self-motivated, independent project management skills, as well as an understanding of Sigma Logic / DOE methodology are highly desired attributes for the incumbent to possess.
