System Center Technician (Finance)

Role Summary

Third Federal Savings & Loan Association is seeking a skilled and proactive System Center Admin to manage and support our enterprise endpoint environment. This role is responsible for the deployment, configuration, security, and lifecycle management of all end-user devices and application deployments, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Group Policy. The ideal candidate will also lead efforts in vulnerability remediation, automation of IT processes, and management of the IT ticketing system.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, patching, and compliance.
  • Design, implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Configuration Baseline to enforce security and configuration standards.
  • Oversee Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning strategies.
  • Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities using tools like Qualys, WSUS, or third-party scanners.
  • Package and deploy applications across the enterprise.
  • Utilize Patch My PC to streamline third-party application patching and ensure software compliance across endpoints.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for escalated desktop and endpoint issues.
  • Maintain and update OS images and task sequences.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce endpoint protection policies.
  • Generate reports on compliance, patch status, and asset inventory.
  • Manage and optimize the IT ticketing system to improve workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and user experience
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and runbooks to streamline IT operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in and lead project teams on a variety of projects

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a Desktop Engineering or Endpoint Management role.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Service Manager, Orchestrator and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Entra AD.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and remediation practices.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Understanding of modern endpoint management and Zero Trust principles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of CrowdStrike, BitLocker, and Patch My PC.
  • Familiarity with IT process automation platforms (Azure Automation, System Center Orchestrator, Power Automate)
  • Familiarity in writing SQL queries to support reporting needs and develop customized dashboards.
  • Understanding of white-listening procedures and administration of Carbon Black.
  • Experience with iPadOS, macOS or mobile device management (MDM).
