Supply Chain Director (Finance)



Overview

UE Manufacturing is Now Hiring Supply Chain Director located at 10000 NW 2 nd , Oklahoma City, OK 73127. Responsible for leading and management of all vendor/supplier communication needs for all issued purchase orders including issue resolution and invoice verification to ensure efficient delivery times and associated costs. Achieves measurable impacts through implementation of method and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, analyze, recommend, and monitor implementation of optimal approaches and prioritization of procurement order activity.
  • Maintain working relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with warehouse and logistics to achieve efficient coordination.
  • Manage process and procedures for freight and material invoice verification.
  • Maintain proper documentation to ensure compliance with internal Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to streamlining invoice verification workflow and documentation of revised procedures.
  • Serve as backup on the team as needed.
  • Motivate, support, and supervise assigned subordinates encouraging high performance and optimum resource utilization. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Hire, counsel, and discharge supply chain personnel staff as necessary.
  • Establish work standards and evaluate warehouse staff's performance. Identify, address, and implement employee development and training opportunities.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education (GED) and seven to ten years related experience. Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

Computer Skills:

JD Edwards, SAP, or similar ERP system(s). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).

  • Prior experience supervising a group.
