Raw Material Strategic Planner (Finance)

The Raw Material Strategic Planner is responsible for conducting analytics and managing planning systems specific to the raw material planning management by supporting business objectives and business plans. Strategic Planner will also lead supply chain improvement initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
Continuously analyze the HYH planning process – Identify and implement process and tool improvements across plant/commodity categories.
Maintain the Raw Material forecast by Plant/Commodity
Maintain and publish monthly Raw Material MPS by Plant/Commodity
Participate in monthly Exec S&OP representing raw Material Planning
Highlights strategic opportunities for RM planning –
Minimizes write offs associated with obsolete RM –
Works with Operations to ensure RM rollovers are effective
Work with Procurement on Supplier Capacity expectations
Lead Raw Material Target Setting process
Primary contact for manufacturing site planners supports in planning systems' technical issues (offline tools, SAP, APO, etc.)
Support customer service objectives and working capital objectives.
Leads communication and resolution of raw material shortages with cross functional teams.
Owner of planning master data integrity for raw materials.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach in the level of service provided.

Communicate fully with superiors and other team members in a manner that is timely, complete, concise and responsive.
Qualifying Experience
Bachelor's Degree related to Supply Chain or equivalent supply chain experience required (minimum of 3 years).
Excellent Analytical and Communication skills
Knowledge of Excel (expert level)
Project Management experience
Production planning experience preferred
Knowledge of SAP ECC, R3, APO and Business Warehouse preferred.
APICS-CPIM is preferred
Green Belt Lean/Six Sigma is preferred
