POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Electrical Technician reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor and is a member of multi-disciplined crew responsible for all and maintenance activities of the liquefied natural gas (LNG) import and regasification terminal. Dedication, sensitivity to safety issues and compliance with policies and procedures are essential for the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the terminal.
KNOWLEDGE:
Understands plant surroundings and can identify relevant equipment. Understands the physical properties of LNG. Possess basic knowledge of safe handling practices, governmental regulations and related technical and safety codes, standards and reporting requirements. Knowledgeable of plant rules and guidelines regarding relevant equipment operations and certification requirements. In-depth knowledge of plant maintenance protocols and equipment diagnostics. Must be qualified in at least two craft skills.
