Sr Product Manager (Finance)



POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Product Manager (SPM) is responsible for managing a full product category, including related products, from strategic planning through tactical execution. This role drives innovative product strategies to grow customer demand, market share, sales, and profitability. The SPM consolidates market needs with company vision into actionable product plans by engaging directly with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders. Working in close alignment with business development, product marketing, engineering, sales, and support teams, the SPM ensures deep market understanding and effective execution of product strategy across the organization. The ideal candidate brings experience in Agile product development, EOS practices, and a working knowledge of software, hardware, and ink-based technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads development of market insights through customer, competitive, and industry research.
  • Crafts product strategy, vision, and roadmaps aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • Defines target market segments, personas, and use cases; understands technical applications and workflows.
  • Manages product requirements, feature prioritization, and backlog grooming using Agile methodologies.
  • Participates in EOS practices such as Level 10 meetings, scorecards, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborates with engineering, marketing, commercial and operations teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Creates and manages product launch plans; leads cross-functional teams through pre- and post-launch activities.
  • Trains internal teams on product features, benefits, and application scenarios.
  • Monitors product performance using KPIs, customer feedback, and financial metrics.
  • Manages unit and revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, and market performance analysis.
  • Provides subject matter expertise in software, hardware, and ink technologies.
  • Drives lifecycle management, including enhancements, cost optimization, and end-of-life planning.
  • Builds strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to validate product direction.
  • Works closely with leadership to define the growth agenda and support strategic initiatives.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred.
  • 8+ years of product management experience in B2B or industrial automation.
  • Experience with Agile and EOS practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP and S&OP processes.
  • Exposure to software, hardware, and/or ink-based product development.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!).
  • Preferred proficiency in using AI tools for productivity.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and reporting.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% locally, nationally, and internationally.
