Financial Accountant (Finance)

The Financial Accountant plays a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company's financial operations. This position is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, job costing, accounts receivable/payable, and monthly close procedures. The Lead Accountant also helps prepare financial reports and supports budgeting and compliance efforts in coordination with the Senior Financial Leader or ownership team.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-based environment and wants to grow into a leadership or Controller-level position over time. Prior experience in a project- or job-costed business (such as landscaping, construction, or trades) is highly beneficial.
