Role description:
Arcadis is looking to hire a Senior Program Manager to support the Places Project and Program Management team on the West Coast of the United States. In this role, you will lead the delivery team and drive service excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment across the program.
Role accountabilities:
Leading a high-performing team to ensure on budget and on schedule delivery of capital projects.
Accountable for portfolio delivery against contract KPI's and annual objectives.
Driving service excellence and continuous improvement ensuring alignment across the program.
Leading an operational team, managing people to deliver the required outputs and standards of delivery, and/or mentor, coach, and develop the skills and capabilities of colleagues to achieve program objectives and continuously improve results.
Managing relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and collaboration across projects and programs and ensure client satisfaction.
Acting as a technical expert within own program, providing subject matter advice to colleagues within the program, to support successful delivery in line with program objectives.
Monitoring and reviewing the performance and behavior of all team members.
Managing and building relationships with client project sponsors/stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and aware of program progress and are aligned to meet objectives.
Occasional travel, including over nights stays up to 25% of time.
Key skills and experience:
Strong knowledge/record of delivering mechanical, electrical & control works within the building services environment
Experience of working within a regulated environment
The ability to motivate and develop the skills of team members
An understanding of business issues being addressed and how they relate to the project activities
Understanding of Project Controls environment
Strong influencer and negotiation skills
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management
10 years of project management expertise within a capital program environment
5 years managing a program/portfolio of real estate capital projects
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, PE, AIA
