Mortgage Account Executive
This individual will manage, grow and expand USIS Regional/National accounts and accounts of similar importance to the Mortgage Solutions business. The Account Executive will ensure the overall health and growth of customer relationships by identifying, pursuing and closing opportunities that increase both revenue and profitability. The Account Executive will also be responsible for identification of new logos and opportunities to expand and grow their book of business.
As the Mortgage Account Executive, you will:
Grow and expand USIS Regional/National accounts and accounts of similar importance to the Mortgage Solutions business
Ensure the overall health and growth of customer relationships by identifying, pursuing and closing opportunities that increase both revenue and profitability
Achieve or exceed any revenue and profitability targets assigned via a book of business and new logo sales
Identify opportunities with new logos and existing book of business and close them to produce documented sales results which reflect consistency, territory growth and client satisfaction
Work seamlessly across Equifax with cross-functional teams in order to coordinate all functional areas as required
Utilize consultative sales strategies demonstrating effective questioning techniques, acquisition of new information, and insight into problems/needs of client to generate viable solutions which consider technical, analytical, and organizational needs
Assess the client's needs and demonstrate appropriate Equifax expertise/solutions for profitable sales
Work across the organization, leveraging the skills and knowledge of pricing, product management, product marketing, sales, market strategy, finance, and technology
Utilize outputs from all of the above to properly and regularly inform peers of Business Unit objectives, and strategies in order to ensure full alignment of cross-functional teams
Interact effectively and often with the expanded USIS/Mortgage/Banking and Lending/IES sales teams obtaining their trust and confidence
Prioritize strategic opportunities based on opportunity size and ease of attainment
Provide input into future mortgage solutions
Coordinate and bring together the Equifax channels to support go-to-market efforts
Negotiate favorable deal terms and conditions, leveraging the support of all Equifax support personnel
Sell all EMS solutions including Core Credit, UDM, Property Data and Analytics, CMS, Workforce Solutions, IXI, and other EFX solutions where allowed and applicable
Work with key leaders in the business to develop and regularly maintain prioritization by strategic initiative
Formulate account sales plan(s) focusing on relationship, revenue and profitability growth to ensure goal attainment
What makes you a good fit for this role?
5 to 7 years in an outside sales role responsible for providing consultation on existing solutions and on-going evaluation of clients' business needs to identify revenue opportunities for both existing and new customers
Proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas and sales targets with the ability to produce documented sales results which reflect territory growth, new sales growth, and client satisfaction
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background and a strong network in the U.S. Mortgage and Banking industries with relationships at varying levels of seniority, from analyst to executive
Deep understanding of the mortgage lifecycle, mortgage value chain, and financial services regulatory environment; ability to monetize that knowledge through sale of products/services that address customer pain points and business needs
Experience in the technology and/or data industries or working with technology and/or data-related products and services
Analytics skills preferred to create and recommend solutions to prospects including financial analysis, ROI, and timelines
Consultative sales skills which demonstrate effective questioning techniques, insight into problems and needs of clients/prospects and development of viable solutions
The ability to create an initial and lasting positive impression and relationship with Equifax prospects, clients, and other employees; exemplifying high standards in the areas of business integrity, ethics, energy, and professional demeanor
Self-manage the creation and execution of a sales plan for the named book of business and new logo sales by selling a diversity of solutions to meet varied client and industry needs
Demonstrated success of project management for complex sales
Proven superior sales skills with the ability to close complex sales
Collaborative in approach, but with a bias of action on behalf of the client
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively to others, conduct effective presentations, overcome obstacles and objections, build professional proposals, and call on all levels within an organization
Highly motivated, independent, self-starter that requires minimal direction, a high level of energy and stamina to maintain enthusiasm and drive results against aggressive revenue goals
PC knowledge and experience with an understanding of basic technology components. Specifically, proficient in CRM/Salesforce and Google Suite
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

Location
This is an outside sales role and therefore a remote opportunity. 35-50% travel in various locations across the United States is required, so we are flexible on location. Candidates must be open to travel with access to a home/remote worksite when not on the road.
