Regional Recruiter (Creative Design)
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position takes ownership of the company-wide recruiting strategy while building relationships with the regional and company management throughout OK, KS, and CO. The incumbent must be able to build a recruiting pipeline while demonstrating effective interviewing techniques, have general knowledge of all specialized company functions, and possess a basic understanding of our company's organizational structure as well as knowledge of personnel policy and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Must be willing to travel and work away from home up to 25% of the time. Must be willing to spend time out on our construction sites working with key personnel to fulfill their recruitment needs. This role is classified as safety sensitive.
ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE
Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
· Recruit, screen, interview, and recommend placement of candidates using creative sourcing methods
· Work closely with Regional HR Business Partners to drive recruitment efforts and fulfill hiring needs
· Partner with HR to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan Compliance
· Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details Refresh job opportunities in HRIS, disposition candidates up to the “Interview” recruiting step, and distribute applications and resumes to supervisors on a weekly basis
· Act as the liaison with area staffing agencies for the Sherwood Companies
· Take ownership for college recruitment, partnering with HR-BP's to fulfill their internship and recruitment needs
· Utilize traditional and non-traditional resources such as in-person and virtual career fairs, community networking events, etc. to promote our brand and recruit top talent
· Conduct presentations at colleges, trade schools, high schools, and for community partners to solicit the next generation of trades workers
· Track and distribute recruiting metrics on a weekly basis
Marketing
· Create and coordinate all social media content using a variety of relevant platforms for the Sherwood Companies
· Design advertising and promotional materials to increase brand awareness and boost applicant pool with high caliber candidates
· Develop and implement company-wide recruitment and advertising campaigns while remaining accountable to a pre-determined financial budget
· Monitor and analyze the performance of all marketing campaigns and strategies being utilized to determine the return on investment
· Source and manage partnerships with third-party contacts, such as marketing vendors, that meet identified branding and targeting needs
· Maintain portfolios of successful marketing campaigns, strategies, and other marketing ideas
Employee Relations
· As part of the HR Team, you will assist with miscellaneous events including wellness initiatives, banquets, picnics, etc.
· Helps lead community involvement to foster employee morale and community spirit

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Must be 18 years or older
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or related discipline required
· 1 to 3 years of experience in Recruiting, Marketing and/or HR Administration preferred
· Experience in a construction environment preferred
· Valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required
