Supervisor, Warehouse Operations (Project Management)
Summary
Leads a Team of Supply Chain colleagues, responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities relating to the internal and external movement and distribution of products, either directly to customers or through wholesalers and distributors.
The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations works across operational departments to facilitate the successful development and completion of all projects which ultimately contribute to the objectives and goals of the company.
Utilizing SAP, the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations executes warehouse receipt, storage, issuance of material to production & performs distribution activities in compliance with cGMP guidelines. This requires on time documentation during the execution to assure compliance.
The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations provides support to the Manufacturing Group, QA, and Facility Operations by complying with company and FDA cGMP requirements.
Key Accountabilities
• SAP proficiency, drive change and implement advanced utilization of SAP within the architecture of the system
• In support of the production schedule, manage the Sampling and Dispensing colleagues and the maintenance of the dispensing suites
• Maintain departmental metrics, provide analytical analysis of trends and offer suggestions for improvement(s)
• Ensures adequate supply levels and timely distribution to meet market demand and maximize sales potential and inventory control.
• Be responsible for the transport of goods, either directly or through external agencies when no separate function exists.
• Responsible for external service provider management to ensure optimized service level and cost effectiveness.
• Contribute to policy and measurement system set-up to achieve operation excellence and continuous efficiency improvement.
• Co-ordinate day-to-day operations and operate within an agreed budget.
• Assist in the co-ordination of import storage and distribution activities.
• Authors, reviews, revises and maintains departmental SOPs /work instructions relating to production activities.
• Maintain accurate production and distribution records.
• Managing receipt, storage and issue of materials, in process and finished goods.
• Adhere to all defined Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations and seek clarification whenever Safety and Sustainability requirements and expectations are either unknown or unclear
• Promptly report identified Safety and Sustainability issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management and correct where possible
• Stop work where deemed necessary to maintain safety
