Asset Specialist (Project Management)
Position Title: Asset Specialist - 5E
Position Summary
Ensure the compliance, structural integrity and ‘readiness' of pole assets (Nodes, Poles, Fiber, Conduit, etc.), and ensure that asset management policies, standards and procedures are properly implemented and maintained; including GO95, NESC, and other utility standards. Prepare, submit, and track NJUNS/ SPANS/Notification tickets and supporting documentation concerning pole attachments, modifications, and cancellations. Responsible for the acquisition and quality of asset data and monitors all proposed changes to SCN assets. Work closely with RF Engineering, Operations, Sales, Implementation, Property Management, Accounts Payable/Receivables, Product Development, Contracts, Base Pole Owners and Auditors regarding the Web-based Ticket Systems, PAU, QGIS, 3GIS, OSPI, Oracle, and CCI Sites to ensure database accuracy, quality and reporting. Support other departments to help meet the company objectives. Analyze, manage and resolve pole related issues in a timely manner.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum five (3) years' experience in utilities, telecommunications, fiber, construction, operations or engineering field related to management of structures
Reports to: Asset Manager & Asset Supervisor
Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
