Manager I - Residential (Finance)
Responsibilities:
Values and demonstrates courtesy, cooperation, fairness, honesty and objectivity in all interactions and encourages the same style of interaction from all team members.
Provides on-call coverage
Conducts individual monthly supervision meetings with DSPs; highlights successes and strengths; sets and clearly defines expectations and performance improvement plans; contacts the Human Resources Dept with any employee relations concerns; documents discipline according to agency policy
Understands and follows the Progressive Discipline approach to performance issues.
Review and approve all time sheets and mileage sheets according to agency policy prior to submission to the Business Office.
Ensures and monitors that all necessary supplies are in the home including food, cleaning supplies, personal needs items and funds; maintain house log book
Ensures that the program(s) meet all Fire Safety Code requirements.
Ensures that the program(s) meet Licensing requirements in all areas.
Responsible for accurate record keeping of each individuals earned income and petty cash accounts, ensuring availability of personal needs and clothing monies.
Identifies open positions within the program in conjunction with the Residential Director and Human Resources Dept
Schedules and supervises all direct support professionals; secures relief staff as needed; adheres to collective bargaining agreement regarding filling open shifts
Participate in the annual Pre-ISP and ISP meetings. Assure the needs of the Participant are being met, by monitoring that supports are being provided as defined in the ISP.
Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and regular access to an insured vehicle.
Minimum two years experience supporting people with developmental disabilities
Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. of weight independently/bending/standing.
Ability to complete CPR, NCI, Human Rights, Management and other required trainings.
Capable of reading and comprehending policies and instruction, and use varying degrees of independent judgment and discretion.
Ability to respond to emergency situations at all times
Ability to use varying degrees of independent judgment and direction.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
