Install, set-up, maintain, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair assigned manufacturing, packaging, ancillary, and facility equipment with responsibility for safety, quality, and production.
Analyze electrical and operational problems. Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Examine defects and analyze spoilage causes and, where possible, take corrective action and verifies the corrective action has eliminated the problems.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes to maintain maximum safety, production and quality rates.
Perform scheduled preventative inspections and maintenance on all assigned equipment.
Changeover equipment to new sizes and bag/case counts and verifies after changeover.
Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations including lockout/tagout, wearing of PPE, etc.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

At least 3 years of manufacturing/industrial experience.

Must be able to use a variety of tools and equipment such as measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, voltmeters.
Ability to use a milling machine, lathe and drill press is a plus.
Knowledgeable in PLCs - PILZ, Siemens and Allen-Bradley ControlLogix with excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds of weight throughout the workday; Must be able to work in a noisy environment with elevated level of debris; Must use Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. dust mask, safety glasses, ear protection, etc.). Must follow OSHA required electrical and arcflash standards.
Must be able to work overtime with minimal notice and be "on-call".
