Creditor Admin (Finance)
Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting analysis of material not clearly marked or identified via shipping label information. This activity requires an excellent understanding of the SAP system and ability to conduct multiple information searches to identify the appropriate actions required to resolve and issue a credit appropriately. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Conducting extensive searches using partial address, name or serial numbers and/or any information provided.
Connect with both internal and external customers through a variety of means-by telephone; e-mail, fax, and/or face to face.
The Creditor may be assigned specific account specialists, for whom they would be the primary contact. The Creditor would then handle day to day problem resolution for of accounts, resolve specific concerns, answering inquiries pertaining to customer credit status, and providing an excellent customer experience.
Responsible for the collection and recording of all recovered and customer returned units.
Verify that the return made is consistent with what the customer reported they would be returning when the return authorization number was issued. This includes verifying product type/version, components, and counts. Often requires removing system components from over pack cartons. Requires detailed knowledge of Bose products and components. Will require use of digital camera to collect evidence of items returned in poor/scrap condition.
Remove all components from over pack cartons and stage/store separately for easier processing during the remanufacturing/customer service rework process.
May occasionally disassemble product.
Other duties as assigned due to business needs.
Experience and skills:
Required: High school diploma or General Education Diploma "GED". Computer data entry and skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Shown strong skills for working in a team. One year customer service or related experience.
Preferred: Experience in receiving and/or Shipping documentation and processes. Previous ERP (SAP, ORACLE) experience.
Crucial physical functions
Must wear all required personal protective equipment "PPE".
Ability to stand the entire work shift.
Lifting between 20 - 50 pounds. Occasionally lift to 70 pounds with machinery assistance. Will be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects.
Work days and hours: Currently in peak season through March Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 2:30am. Off peak season typically April to October hours are 6:00am - 4:30pm. Overtime with business needs.
