Position Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Drive business by developing consumer-right products that corresponds with company financial targets.
Discover and validate market problems (both existing and future customers)
Understand, articulate, and capture customer market problems and then translate them into market requirements for product management
Generate market trends, consumer insights, growth opportunities and idea generation for product management.
Oversee business cases for recommended product extensions and enhancements.
Understand the aspects of a customer's business and how it applies to our company's product and services offering.
Seek new market opportunities by leveraging the company's distinctive competence
Define and size market segments
Conduct win/loss analysis
Provide oversight of strategy, technical, and marketing aspects of all products in the portfolio
Identify and execute when necessary business development relationship needed to make a portfolio whole
Analyze product profitability and sales success
Create and maintain the business plan including pricing and product mix
Determine buy/build/partner decisions
Position products for all markets and all buyer types
Document the typical buying process
Verify that new product launch communication strategies are planned and coordinated with Product Management, Sales, Channel Management and creative department. Communication should align with the business case for the new product or enhancement.
Other Requirements:
4 year degree
Advanced Ed: MBA Preferred
10+ years of Experience
Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be evaluated
