The Global Technology organization at Prudential is seeking a Senior AEM Engineer. This position will be part of Prudential.com's Engineering team. You will support an agile team, collaborating with managers, technical leads, developers, testers, product owners and architects to support core applications for Prudential.
Qualifications:
Familiar with various systems development lifecycles (SDLC, Agile)
Strong Adobe Experience Manager experience designing, developing and supporting AEM components, integrations and applications
Strong AEM experience integrating Adobe Marketing Cloud systems such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target or Adobe Tag Manager
Strong Java-based experience developing release-capable AEM software components
Strong sense of object-oriented design and design patterns
Strong experience building complex, accessible UI/UX components
Proficient in web development technologies including native web components and frameworks like Angular and/or React
Experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2 (WCAG2), published by International Standards Organization W3C
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud is a plus
Exposure to relational database like SQL Server
Demonstrated capability in Prudential Leadership Competencies: Strong Moral Compass, Taking Appropriate Risks, Collaboration, and Execution
Requirements:
At least 5 - 8 years of experience working in technology
Support of the product owner in the assessment of requirements regarding AEM architecture, technologies, internal interfaces, or connections to third-party systems
Fluency with Agile Delivery
Familiarity with task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools including the Atlassian suite, JIRA and Confluence
An ability to work with ambiguous and abstract concepts, as the candidate will often have to resolve complex customer inquiries
Ability to process new concepts and technologies quickly, has an appetite for learning
A problem-solving mindset, someone with the skills and attributes to find the most appropriate solution that will bring about the desired change/outcome
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities change
Experience in pair programming and code reviews
Experience with testing at all levels: unit, integration, functional, and performance
