Your Mission

Our Mobile Growth team is looking for a passionate and results-driven Senior Manager of App Store Optimization (ASO) to lead our global ASO strategy for Call of Duty: Mobile, one of the world's most iconic gaming franchises. As part of the Mobile Growth Marketing team, you will drive the visibility, conversion, and organic performance of Call of Duty: Mobile across key app stores, including Apple's App Store, Google Play, and emerging platforms.

This role requires a blend of user acquisition, creative, analytical, and strategic expertise. You'll work cross-functionally with Growth/User Acquisition, Creative, Marketing Analytics, Go-To-Market, Product Management, and Regional Marketing teams to maximize store presence, improve player acquisition efficiency, and optimize for ongoing live ops success.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Own and develop the end-to-end App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy & roadmap for Call of Duty: Mobile - overall discipline management, testing framework, creative ideation, development, production, delivery, testing, and iterative optimization process.
  • Manage and continuously optimize store assets (app icons, screenshots, videos, feature graphics, descriptions, etc.) to maximize marketing funnel efficiency, increasing conversion rates and driving installs.
  • Partner closely with Growth/User Acquisition, Creative, Go-To-Market, and First Party teams to align on testing roadmaps and marketing messaging strategies for store presence.
  • Lead A/B testing initiatives using internal tools, App Store Connect, and third-party platforms.
  • Conduct ongoing keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance reporting to identify market trends, avenues for experimentation, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with Apple, Google, and other platform partners to maximize the conversion impact of Featuring opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Assist in creative agency identification and optimization in conjunction with Growth & Creative teams, ensuring ASO creative deliverable needs are mapped against project-appropriate partners.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on data-driven analysis.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in ASO, mobile marketing, and mobile gaming to maintain a competitive edge.

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in App Store Optimization and/or User Acquisition, preferably in mobile gaming, entertainment, or a high-growth consumer app environment.
  • Deep knowledge of both Apple App Store and Google Play ecosystems, algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Hands-on experience with ASO tools (e.g., Geeklab, App Store Connect, Sensor Tower/Data.ai, StoreMaven, SplitMetrics, etc).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Creative eye for optimizing store assets and understanding what resonates with diverse gaming audiences.
  • Experience working with localization teams to optimize multi-language stores across diverse global markets.
  • Experience with crafting executive-ready materials and presenting quantitative and qualitative insights to and executive audience.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles as they apply to app store ecosystems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Extra Points:

  • Familiarity with MMPs (e.g., Appsflyer, Singular, Adjust, Kochava) and attribution reporting.
  • Experience with end-to-end marketing creative process, familiarity technical specs and outputs across a variety of digital marketing channels.
  • Passion for gaming - especially mobile and FPS titles like Call of Duty - is always a plus.
  • Experience at an international organization with multiple business units.
  • MBA or other graduate degree in a relevant field.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $105,120.00 - $194,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
