JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (SDDEI) will report to the CEO of Health Federation of Philadelphia (HFP) as a member of the leadership team and serve as a subject matter expert and thought partner to HFP and its network. As such, the SDDEI will advise on development and implementation of a long-term vision and goals for diversity, equity, and inclusion across the network; help to build shared understanding of DEI principles; assist in the development of metrics to track progress; and use tailored approaches to support HFP and individual members of the network in the continuous process of moving toward more inclusive and equitable work environments and services. The SDDEI will be responsible for delivering creative, outcomes-focused content, strategies, and solutions gained through ongoing feedback, research on best practices, and continuous learning. Highly collaborative and cross-functional, this role serves as a partner to HFP leadership, a DEI Advisory Committee, the HFP Board and member health centers.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Master's degree in diversity & inclusion, social justice, sociology, social work, public health, organizational leadership, human resources, public administration, or other related field. Significant experience performing the aforementioned duties may substitute for the education requirement.

Work Environment:
Standard office setting with virtual office options.
Position Type and Work Schedule:
Full time position, typical hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Flex office schedule options may be available with supervisor approval.
Travel:
Local travel to multiple locations will be required approximately 6-8 days per month for trainings and site visits.
Physical Demands:
Ability to transport materials, equipment or supplies weighing up to 30 lbs.
