Schedule: Monday - Friday
Qualifications:
5+ years of Civil Estimator experience is required.Must have a valid driver's license.Experience with various estimating programs, AutoCAD, Bid 2 Win, Agtek or similar platform is required.Experience interpreting and reading civil plans, specifications and performing take offs is required.Excellent communication skills.Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthwork grading, drainage, utilities, concrete, roadways and other civil scopes.Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents.Collaborates with stakeholders and assist in cost saving strategies to develop a budget for the project.Develop and maintain good relationships with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using estimating software.Manage projects, oversee and document all aspects of the estimating and bid process.Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits and client presentations.Coordinate with project managers to develop construction schedules and budgets.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
