Print Operator (Manufacturing)

This position will Perform a wide range of operations to maintain buildings, machines and service equipment.

The Print Operator will manager operation of print offset (jet/digital) & finishing equipment
Duties/Responsibilities:
Adhere to, support, and encourage others to follow all WEC safety guidelines and procedures including but not limited to the appropriate use of PPE as required, reporting all safety incidents and near misses immediately.Team-player who can also work independently.
Ability to concentrate and stay on task
Capable of following instructions in various forms of communication
Good Communication
Able to read a ruler and follow Customer Specifications
Develop a rhythm on production equipment to maintain proper speed and quality (feeding machine and packing)
Learn to Mix Offset Ink
Learn how to make plates
Learn how to perform basic maintenance
Required to perform work order changes / Setups on Jet, SJ, 4 Color, and Cheetah
Able to trouble shoot equipment
Meet or exceed machine speed budget
Meet or exceed machine changeover budget
Ability to Use appropriate technology to log order and production information, to identify and confirm correct order specifications, to manage and track inventory as needed, to print labels.
Operating Electric pallet jack required
Overtime possible
Performs other duties as required
Required Skills/Abilities:
Team-player who can also work independently.
Excellent communication skills
Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
Ability to concentrate and stay on task.
Capable of following instructions in various forms of communication
The employee will regularly Stand; Walk; Talk; using hands to finger dexterity. Occasionally reaches, stoops, kneels, crouches.
Must be Able to lift, unstack and stack 30-40 lbs repetitively for 8 + hours
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision; Distance vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception; Ability to adjust focus
Typical manufacturing environment, working within a small area, walking on concrete floors. Daily exposure to the plant environment; walking near equipment with moving mechanical parts. The entire plant area is built on concrete floors.
