Accounting Internship (Food Services)

Students are rewarded both professionally and socially in a manufacturing setting. Interns learn and attend activities throughout the internship that enable interaction with leadership at all levels.

Position Overview
Interns are responsible for learning about and supporting a range of accounting and financial duties and practices as directed by the Accounting Manager.

What You'll Do
Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams, including entering data/cash deposits and filing.
Assist with month-end financial reporting, including journal entries, bank statement reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
Complete ad-hoc analyses, reports & special projects.
Assist with analysis of financial trends and operational performance.

What You Bring
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong proficiency in Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail, time management and follow-up skills are essential.

What Experience You'll Need
Actively enrolled in and taking classes towards an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited college or university.
