DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Masterpiece Unit at WGBH has co-produced and presented the Emmy award-winning drama series Masterpiece on PBS since 1971.
The Masterpiece Production/Creative team handles production, promotion, and post-production. This includes managing approval media and source media, and creating PBS show masters and weekly promos. Additionally, the team creates videos for digital and social media, show reels, trailers, awards submissions, press screeners, and event reels. The unit also provides technical and creative services to the Masterpiece unit and affiliated stakeholders.
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Digital Producer who can capitalize on the content of the Masterpiece Studio Podcast, and the unique access we have to some great thinkers. The Digital Producer will create content specifically for three podcast episodes to compliment our 50th Anniversary.
Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Digital Producer will create unique engaging content that might be written or graphic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
5-7 years of experience in journalism or content production for the web.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study or equivalent work experience preferred
