Automation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Oversee end-to-end integration of high-power server rack systems - including high level assembly, cabling, and functional testing of racks with both air and liquid cooling systems.
  • Ensure smooth deployment of designs developed by external teams, asking the right questions to validate manufacturability and reliability.
  • Proactively seek ways to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve yield and throughput.
  • Utilize data-driven problem solving (root cause analysis, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies) to address production challenges and implement corrective actions that enhance operational performance.
  • Identify and implement advanced process automation solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Champion the use of modern manufacturing technologies such as machine vision systems, collaborative robots (cobots), guided assembly, and liquid handling systems to enhance our assembly and test processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support NPI and ongoing production.
  • Coordinate with global customers and suppliers as needed to resolve technical issues, incorporate feedback, and meet project milestones.
  • Serve as a key technical liaison, communicating effectively with all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Provide clear updates on engineering activities, project status, and process improvements to site leadership.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for executives, while ensuring front-line production staff understand process changes and expectations.

Team Leadership & Development:
