Job Description
Aboutthe Role:
TheProductManagerforPaymentsrepresentsthe lifeblood for growth for SVB, improving thePayments process and experienceand differentiating our digital capabilities from our competition. This roleis responsible for driving a significant aspect ofour digitaltransformationand modernization strategy.
TheProduct Manager- Payments- Shared Services will be responsible forbuilding and managing shared services for corepaymentsproductsas well as on-going management and business readiness of product launches.
The ideal candidate will:
• Possess a strong product management backgroundin Banking Payments (ACH, Wire, Swift) and has experience managing products on various platforms, developing roadmap, meeting regulatory requirementsandachievingcompliance.
• Demonstrateprior experience in building and executingthe product roadmap as well as assist in delivering relevant and well-designed solutions to our clients and stakeholders. This role is expected to exercise creativity, critical thinking, relationship building, analytics, and collaboration to solve client problems.
• Demonstratean ability to collaborate with developers and data engineers to define the technology infrastructure anddataarchitecture necessary to deliver a breakthroughPaymentsexperience.

What You'll Bring:
• A Bachelor's Degreeinscience, engineering,orotherquantitative major that requires structured problem solving
• Prior experience implementingcore and emerging payments (ACH, Wire,Swift) on apayment'splatform is needed
• Payment hub knowledge and experience a plus
• Experience agile podsas aproductowner and ability tolead in a cross functional teamenvironment
• Prior integration and vendor management experience
• Experience building business case for a product/feature, develop roadmaps, being able to articulate the vision and own the OKRs.
• 5-7+years of Product Management experience,preferablyin Banking/Financial Services
• 5+yearsdirect knowledge and experience withPayments,
• Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively in cross-functionalteams
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability
• Strong understanding and working experiencewithdesign-thinking best practices to deliverindustry-definingdigital products and experiences
• Knowledge of Agile routinesand experienceleadingin an Agile environment
• Detailed oriented and ability to design business architecture
• Managing multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
• Vendor management experience a plus
