Facilities Maintenance Technician (Finance)

We are currently seeking a well-qualified candidate for the position of Facilities Maintenance Technician located in Endicott, NY. This position coordinates, performs, and troubleshoots routine facilities maintenance, including, but not limited to: construction, renovations, and resolves manufacturing process issues. The individual in this role provides tooling and equipment problem solving support to multiple departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform facility renovations and construction. Perform minor electrical maintenance and minor plumbing maintenance. Work with outside vendors and contractors as required. Assist with machinery setup and maintenance. Assist with potential costs, process, workflow, tooling, quality and safety improvements. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Understand and follow Company practices, policies, and procedures. Perform other work duties as assigned. May be required to work flexible hours. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: 2 years working experience in facility maintenance. Certified lift truck operator preferred. Basic to intermediate carpentry/building skills. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Experience performing maintenance on manufacturing machines preferred. Strong problem-solving skills. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting and transporting light to heavy items. Tolerance of fumes, odors and noise. May require bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling. Prolonged sitting and/or standing. Repetitive motions. Ability to apply mental processes to understand and follow verbal/written communication and instructions. Ability to manage stress and adapt to change and frequent distractions.
