Administrator in Training (AIT) (Project Management)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) to participate in a comprehensive program designed to meet all Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licensure requirements under 77 Ill. Adm. Code Part 1310 for obtaining a Nursing Home Administrator license.

This full-time, paid role is a structured learning and leadership development experience that will lead directly to placement as an Assistant Administrator upon successful completion, with the goal of long-term advancement within our organization.

Program Requirements & Compliance:

Completion of all Illinois-required AIT program hours, training modules, and documentation in accordance with 77 Ill. Adm. Code Part 1310.Participation in supervised, hands-on experience across all functional areas of facility operations, including regulatory compliance, budgeting, quality improvement, staffing, and resident care oversight.Demonstrated readiness to apply for and obtain Illinois Nursing Home Administrator licensure upon program completion.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree OR equivalent combination of education and substantial healthcare leadership experience.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Experience in NC/DD (Medically Complex for the Developmentally Disabled) or other specialized care environments is beneficial but not required.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.Commitment to fulfilling all licensure requirements to obtain an Illinois Nursing Home Administrator license.
