Nurse Practitioner (RN-NP), Adult Palliative Care - PT/Days (8hr) (Finance)

This position is responsible for the planning, development and provision of service for a Palliative Care Program consistent with the Mission of Saddleback Medical Center. Professional services include, but are not limited to: bio psychosocial assessments, care consultation, quality/financial performance, MD/Patient/Staff and Community education. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) supports management in achieving a high quality program which achieves both clinical outcomes and patient/family service excellence, in an efficient and fiscally prudent manner. The NP is knowledgeable of the latest clinical trends, regulatory requirements and reimbursement patterns for patients on the Palliative Care service.
Qualifications:
Experience
1-2 years' experience in Palliative Care and / or Hospice, along with pain and symptom management expertise preferred.
