Analytic Engineer

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking highly motivated, career-oriented candidates for a Business Intelligence Analyst position with the Business Intelligence team. The Business Intelligence team operates as a technology-driven business unit for structuring and analyzing data to provide actionable information and insights to assist the organization in making informed business decisions.  This position is responsible for leveraging our data warehouse to efficiently allow for optimization of data reporting & analytics to support the Credit Union's business units.
What You'll have an Opportunity to do:

• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain the reporting data layer.
• Maintain metadata and documentation for all reporting datasets with strong emphasis on data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with Database team to understand and optimize upstream ETL processes.
• Ensure data from multiple sources is integrated accurately and consistently.
• Educate and support analysts on dataset usage and query optimization.
• Maintain a KPI and metric data application, ensuring consistent alignment to established definitions, logic, and calculation methodologies.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• College education in Computer Science, Database Management, or related field and 3 years of related experience in database and data management solutions development. In lieu of a 4-year degree, a high school diploma and commensurate experience is acceptable.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience working with SSIS or similar ETL tools.
• Experience with relational data warehouses and understanding of best practices.
• Experience with data governance and documentation.
