Temporary Marketing Associate (Marketing)
Job Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to assist in promoting IEEE Computer Society products and programs to a wide variety of audiences. The incumbent in this position is primarily responsible for content and campaigns that generate engagement, conversions, and leads across a variety of mediums. The role reports to the senior marketing manager and does not manage any direct reports. This position works under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Write, schedule, and execute marketing campaigns for internal and external stakeholders about CS products and features.
Create product collateral (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, product videos, website copy, webpages, blog posts, Quora/forum responses, email communication) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world
Create banners and video content using Canva templates
Inform external partners of product information and provide sample content to outside channels and platforms.
Develop and manage plans for product outreach and marketing
Assist all departments and relevant volunteers as needed with administrative tasks, website updates, volunteer interviews, campaign promotion, and other tasks as needed
Write marketing copy for print and online promotions, ad words, landing pages, and marketing copy.
Develop and execute on campaign planning for digital marketing campaigns as assigned.
Define requirements and resource needs, plans, and executes new campaigns, as assigned
Ensures that all messaging and communications, both with internal and external audiences, is consistent
Assist in creating and updating website content, as assigned.
