Project Assistant (Fixed Term) (Finance)

The Emotion & Cognition Lab seeks a Full-Time fixed-term( through 05/31/2020) Project Assistant to
join a dynamic research team currently studying the effects of heart rate biofeedback on emotion regulation.
This position would begin in May and is project based: Work schedule is M-F, 9am-5pm.
The Project Assistant will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks and
logistics, maintaining and organizing incoming data, assisting with experiment sessions,
and more. The ideal candidate would have excellent organization and people skills, be
very reliable and professional, and be interested in our area of research. This is a great

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Administer experiment sessions
Coordinate day-to-day logistics
Manage, monitor and continuously update study schedule
Assist with data tracking and organization
Prepare and maintain research devices
Recruit and schedule undergraduate researchers
Calculate participant compensation
Assist with generating reports and other study documentation as needed
This position is funded by a research contract/grant and may be funded by a
subsequent contract/grant. Accordingly, this position is contingent upon receipt of
the necessary funding from this or any subsequent contract/grant for continued
employment.
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree and must have lab experience. Software or programming experience preferred but not required. Spanish fluency preferred but not required.
