Ecommerce Operations Manager (Information Technology)

Position Summary:
This individual is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the eCommerce platform for ExamFX. This manager will play a key role in both strategic direction and program implementation for the ExamFX website property. This role will also lead SEO efforts, digital analytics, new feature Quality Assurance and QA/UAT and CX/UX testing.
The eCommerce Operations Manager is responsible for managing projects focused on keeping the website consistent with our brand while providing the customer an exceptional experience.
The eCommerce Operations Manager coordinates cross-functional resources, establishes and manages project timelines and deliverables and ensures all projects are appropriately scoped, allocated resources, scheduled appropriately, delivered on time, within budget and to the original vision. This position meets with stakeholders within the eCommerce, Marketing, Creative, and IT teams as well as third-party vendors to understand each project and build project plans according to the requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day updates to product and content, site functionality, order fulfillment and processing
• Manage the user experience of the front end website including site navigation, checkout funnel, to optimize user experience and conversion rate
• Serve as a primary point within the organization for cross functional partners acting to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and QA/UAT front end test site initiatives
• Prepare project plans and manage project backlog. Drive projects to completion
• Prepare test plans and develop and execute thorough unit and system testing scenarios and documentation
• Lead website operations, planning, and execution of tasks, site features, and troubleshooting bugs and/or issues
• Develop SEO strategies that increased traffic and align with best practices by way of keyword research and analysis, SEO audits, competitive analysis and software implementation and optimization
• Work with the brand and marketing teams to ensure sure marketing stories are appropriately supported on the site and support ad hoc projects and site development
• Provide expertise on current industry best practices and lead the team and organization beyond current thinking
• Develop and implement growth strategies through ExamFX websites
• Support Customer Service with issues affecting website users
• Guide ecommerce decision making, projects and workflow within the department
• Provide measured reporting for the executive level to help guide overall marketing and operational direction within eCommerce
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred
Two to five years of progressive ecommerce marketing for both B2B and B2C
• Experience with Magento platform preferred

• Proven ability to analyze data and translate customer insights into successful marketing programs
• Possess a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to customers

• Empathetic and current understanding of customer experience and expectations
• Moderate understanding of SEO tactics, including experience with Google Analytics
• Working knowledge of Content Management Systems
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS related to landing page and email design
• Adept with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to persuade, negotiate, and work cross-functionally
• Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market and organizational dynamics
• Understanding of user-design, graphic design and interface principles of responsive
• Experience with Marketing Automation software
• B2B and B2C digital marketing experience
Other Requirements (Travel, Shifts, Physical Demands, etc.):
• Ability to work occasional evening and weekend hours
• Occasional travel is required
