Summary:
Oversees the day to day operations of the site Utilities Department. Looks for ways to make the company more productive by providing effective methods within its own business operations. Assists with preparing project site budget. Evaluates utility maintenance and repair techniques required for the Integrated Maintenance Program (IMP) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) program. Recognizes and handles both operational and personnel issues quickly and efficiently. Works in partnership with managers/supervisors to maintain an effective relationship with our government partners and customers.

The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort is required. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk. Must be able to ascend and descend on ladders of various heights to view work in progress, perform investigations, or gain information for estimating purposes. Driving to various job sites is required.
Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office. The work involves minimal risks and observance of safety precautions typical of this position. Occasional field visits may be required with the use of assigned PPE. Field visit work is accomplished both indoors and outdoors in all climates, often exposed to hot sun or cold windy conditions. May be called in for afterhours emergency situations including weekends and holidays. Company cell phone provided to respond for 24/7/365 coverage.
