What will you do?
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Sourcing Strategy
Implement effective sourcing strategies aligned with business goals to ensure contractors and suppliers meet current and future requirements.
Build alliances with critical suppliers and contractors to ensure business continuity and resiliency.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, and Project Controls to develop the Supply Chain team as a critical partner, including risk management and planning.
Communicate progress clearly to Senior Leadership.
2. Process
Drive the supply chain team to participate in business development by providing supply market expertise, pricing analysis, and sourcing strategies.
Implement programs to improve cost, quality, delivery, and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities, etc.).
Collaborate with other departments to close operational gaps.
3. Procurement
Manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging spending, and savings forecasts.
Ensure buyers minimize risk regarding quality and financial exposure by adhering to quality and commercial procedures and Company guidelines.
4. Monitoring
Establish and maintain metrics to identify and report cost reductions relative to project budgets.
Ensure Supply Chain standards, policies, and procedures are maintained and adhered to.
5. Supplier/Contractor Agreements
Handle communications and negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
Define and establish standard agreements with all major suppliers and contractors.
Provide and maintain standard contract terms in line with Company directives and guidelines.
6. People Leadership and Development
Ensure the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
Guide, motivate, and develop resources within existing policies and company directives (coaching, knowledge management, functional training, etc.).
Coordinate SCM talent management and succession planning within the assigned area.
Who you are?
Bachelor's or master's degree, Engineering or other technical background is advantage.
Preferably 5 – 7 years of experience in similar position.
Excellent proficiency in both written and verbal English communication
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel is highly desired.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational abilities are necessary.
Displaying a proactive attitude, adaptability, openness to learning, and a collaborative mindset are valued attributes.
