Vita Program Supervisor (Project Management)
Essential Duties:
The VITA Supervisor plans, train, coordinate and direct a broad range of activities ensuring quality service delivery is achieved. Work involves working with VITA team to develop training plans, conducting supervisory reviews of staff productivity and performance,
Along with Program Manager, responsible for the planning, hiring, orientation, training, coaching, and development of program staff to assure the performance standards and measurements outlined in progrqam guidelines are met.
Follow up with client inquiries to assure timely resolution. Resolve customer complaints by analyzing the situation, informing and enforcement of VITA program policies. Direct daily scheduling and work assignments for Vita staff. Document complaints involving workers and take appropriate action with staff timely Perform quality reviews of all staff/board members tax returns ensuring all required documents have been completed. Analyze program data and plan for program improvements. Submit monthly and quarterly reports with quantitative and qualitative information. Maintain related administrative record keeping and reporting systems as required by contracts and SDC policy and procedures. Attend community coalition and committee meetings as directed by Program Manager; provide community education and presentations as needed maintaining positive partnerships with community, county, state and city stakeholders. Work closely with and support program manager. All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:
Associates Degree in Human Services, Accounting, business, tax, financial management with a minimum of 2 years of tax related experience. Demonstrated 2 yrs. direct supervisory experience. 2 years experience managing and recruiting teams or volunteers. Strong report writing and data interpretation ability. Strong public speaking experience required. 2 years demonstrated experience in collaborative efforts and networking for securing funds.
