LCG is seeking an IT Software Trainer to be a key member of our team supporting 2500 users. The person filling this position will be part of a team developing and providing training on the client site supported applications and hardware and maintain the training classrooms. Training is conducted in person in our training rooms and virtually via Adobe Connect. The Trainer will work with multiple customers, levels of management and technical staff to identify needed training offerings such as on-site demos, one-on-one training, training videos, and user guides needed for the different products releases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Obtain information needed to assist in the preparation of effective and sustainable training programs; prepare training materials; assist in the development of course content; assist in determining methodology; and coordinate the development of training aids
•Conduct training programs on technical topics and develop training program modules
•Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
•Assist in revising lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date
•Contribute to and assist in the coordination, administration, and follow-up of training events and the administration of surveys
•Proactively implement training course effectiveness evaluations, collect metrics and strategize training program improvements
•Provide Tier 3 support to customers for software that is included in the training team's course list.
•Prepare and submit reports detailing the status, accomplishments, and issues of the team.
